We extend our sincerest gratitude to Mayor Cr. Naim Kurt for gracing our office with his presence in February.  His visit not only honoured us but also underscored the unwavering dedication to our community. His continuous support and guidance from the council have been crucial in shaping our initiatives and fostering collaboration for the betterment of Hume City. Interview with SBS Radio - Future Workshops

Director of the Australian MultiCultural Community  Center (AMCC), Kholoud Ahmed, was interviewed in radio interview with SBS Radio on January, 2024. The interview, conducted by Arab broadcast radio, delved into the current programs and projects leading by the AUSCC. This opportunity allowed for an engaging discussion on the center’s initiatives and their impact within the community.

Interview with SBS Radio - Mental Health Workshops

Kholoud Ahmed, Director of the Australian Multicultural Community Center (AMCC), was interviewed by SBS Arabic Radio in January 2024. The interview provided an in-depth look at the AMCC’s current programs and projects, including free mental health workshops for youth in Melbourne. These workshops aim to raise awareness, provide support, and teach practical strategies for recognizing and managing mental health challenges, highlighting the center's commitment to empowering diverse community members across Australia.

Interview with SBS Radio - Welfare and Support

Ketey Ahmed, Director of the Australian Multicultural Community Centre (AMCC) in Melbourne, was interviewed by SBS Arabic Radio which offered an in-depth look at AMCC’s support programs for Australia’s multicultural communities, including free services for youth, the elderly, and those experiencing financial or social hardship. The AMCC provides legal consultations for accessing welfare, psychological support for victims of domestic violence, and youth empowerment initiatives. These programs are designed to break down social, psychological, and financial barriers, illustrating the AMCC's dedication to creating opportunities and fostering resilience within Australia’s diverse communities.

Interview with SBS Radio - International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

In an interview with the Director of the Australian Multicultural Community  Center (AMCC), Kholoud Ahmed focused on the challenges women face. Additionally, Kholoud discussed the new initiatives provided by AMCCL including the mental health clinic and legal clinic, both free of charge. This opportunity allowed for an engaging discussion on the center’s initiatives and the impact within the community.
