Spanish Storytelling Job

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Spanish Storyteller/Group Facilitator to lead engaging weekly sessions for children aged 3-5 years. If you have a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of Spanish culture, and experience working with young children, we’d love to hear from you!
Title: Spanish Storyteller/Group Facilitator
Location: Maribyrnong
Program: Multicultural Story Time
Key Responsibilities:

Lead 45-minute interactive Spanish storytelling sessions using traditional stories, songs, and games.

Prepare lesson plans and educational materials.

Facilitate play-based learning, encouraging participation and engagement.

Build positive relationships with participants.

Maintain session attendance and feedback records.
Requirements:

Fluent in Spanish (speaking, reading, writing) and strong knowledge of Spanish culture.

3-5 years experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.

Experience in storytelling, teaching, or group facilitation for young children.

Excellent communication, flexibility, and organizational skills.
-
Valid Working with Children Card, police clearance, and 100 points ID.
Work Schedule:
-
4-hour sessions (2 hours storytelling + 2 hours admin) weekly from July to August.

2-hour sessions weekly for the remainder of the project.
Compensation: Award rate.
