Event Summary

The Happy and Safe Communities: Community Services Expo 2025 was held on Wednesday, 30 April 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Mickleham North Community Centre, located at 82–90 St Georges Boulevard, Mickleham VIC 3064.


The event brought together a wide range of community service providers to help local residents discover support programs and resources available for themselves and their families. Participants had the opportunity to connect with organisations offering services in:


Allied health

Centrelink and financial support

Community legal assistance

Family violence support

Children's services and family programs

Multicultural community services

Employment and settlement support


A free shuttle bus service was provided between Craigieburn Station and the event venue to ensure accessibility for attendees.


The expo created a welcoming environment where community members could ask questions, receive information, and learn about programs that promote safety, wellbeing, and social inclusion within Hume.


The event was supported by Hume City Council, DPV Health, Australian Multicultural Community Services, and the Brotherhood of St Laurence, demonstrating a strong partnership approach to community development in the region
