Wire Volunteer Support Worker Program Registrations

Program Highlights:​

  • Greater Confidence: Develop awareness and confidence in engaging with community members.

  • Practical Skills: Learn to identify appropriate referral pathways and use practical strategies for inclusive support work.

  • Certification: Receive a certificate upon completion.

  • Catered Sessions: Morning tea is provided during the training sessions.

  • Cultural Celebration: A final day celebration with a shared homemade lunch to celebrate diverse cultures.

  • Interactive Training: Participate in interactive and reflective training sessions.

  • Community Support: Build your capacity to provide effective peer and community support.

  • Informed Approaches: Explore support work through a trauma-informed, person-centred, and intersectional feminist lens.
