The Youth Disability Program

The Youth Disability Program at AMCCL is dedicated to empowering young individuals with disabilities through creative and hands-on activities, including arts, cooking, and gardening. Our program focuses on providing an inclusive environment where participants can explore their talents, develop essential life skills, and foster social connections.

Arts: Through various artistic mediums, participants express themselves, build confidence, and explore their creativity. Art workshops not only enhance artistic skills but also promote emotional well-being by providing a platform for self-expression.

Cooking: Our cooking classes teach valuable culinary skills, enabling youth to prepare healthy meals and understand nutrition. Participants gain confidence and independence in the kitchen while enjoying the social aspect of cooking and sharing meals together.

Gardening: The gardening component encourages participants to connect with nature, learn about sustainability, and develop responsibility through caring for plants. This hands-on experience promotes teamwork and provides a sense of accomplishment as they see the fruits of their labor.

By incorporating these empowering activities, we aim to create a supportive community where youth with disabilities can thrive, gain independence, and build lasting friendships. To register for the program, please visit the following link:
