Turkish Storytelling Job

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Turksih Storyteller/Group Facilitator to lead engaging weekly sessions for children aged 3-5 years. If you have a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of Spanish culture, and experience working with young children, we’d love to hear from you!

Title: Turkish Storyteller/Group Facilitator

Location: Hume

Program: Multicultural Story Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead 45-minute interactive Turkish storytelling sessions using traditional stories, songs, and games.

  • Prepare lesson plans and educational materials.

  • Facilitate play-based learning, encouraging participation and interaction.

  • Build positive relationships with children, fostering an inclusive and fun environment.

  • Keep track of attendance and gather feedback on sessions.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Turkish (speaking, reading, writing) with strong knowledge of Turkish culture.

  • 3-5 years of experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.

  • Experience in storytelling, teaching, or group facilitation.

  • Strong communication, flexibility, and time management skills.

  • Valid Working with Children Card, police clearance, and 100 points ID.

Work Schedule:

  • 4-hour sessions (2 hours storytelling + 2 hours admin) weekly from July to August.

  • 2-hour sessions weekly for the remainder of the project.

Compensation: Award rate.
