Turkish Storytelling Job

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Turksih Storyteller/Group Facilitator to lead engaging weekly sessions for children aged 3-5 years. If you have a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of Spanish culture, and experience working with young children, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Turkish Storyteller/Group Facilitator with experience workingwith children aged 3-5 years to lead weekly sessions for our program, providing anengaging and interactive experience for our young participants. The successfulcandidate will deliver 2-hour sessions weekly forthe remaining project period.(2025-2026)
Key Responsibilities:

Design and lead 45-minute Turkish storytelling sessions, using traditional Turkish stories, songs, games, and activities tailored to engage children aged 3-5 years

Prepare and deliverlesson plans, including educational materials and resources

Facilitate discussions and encourage participant interaction and engagement, using play-based learning methods

Build relationships with participants,fostering a positive and inclusive environment

Maintain accurate records of session attendance, participation, and feedback
-
Participate in regular meetings with the program team to discuss progress, share best practices, and address any challenges or concerns
Requirements:
-
Strong knowledge of Turkish culture and language (speaking, reading, writing)

Atleast 3-5 years of experience working with children aged 3-5 years in a childcare or educational setting

Experience in storytelling, group facilitation, orteaching for young children

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work with diverse groups of children and adapt to their individual needs

Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing circumstances
-
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Valid Work with children Card, police clearance, 100 pointID.
Work Schedule:

2-hour sessions weekly for the remaining project period
