About This Event

This Refugee Week, the Australian Multicultural Community Centre proudly hosted a range of vibrant events celebrating culture, community, and inclusion. From a delicious multicultural food session at our Multicultural Carers Hub to creative craft activities and a multicultural youth program supporting young people with disabilities, the week was full of meaningful connection and joy.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our funding bodies, community partners, and all participants who came together to make these events possible. Watch the video to see the incredible moments we shared!

Australian Multicultural Community Centre limited recognises the rich Aboriginal heritage within the municipality and acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung, which includes the existing family members of the Gunung-Willam-Balluk clan, as the Traditional Custodians of this land.  WE embraces the  Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander living cultures as a vital part of Australia’s identity and recognises, celebrates and pays respect to Elders past, present and future.
