Event Summary

The session began with an introduction round in which each participant shared their name and something they are proud of about their country or culture. This activity helped create a welcoming and comfortable environment, and participants openly shared cultural values, traditions, and personal experiences. Through this discussion, the group learned several interesting facts about different cultures and developed a greater appreciation for cultural diversity.

Participants then engaged in a creative art activity, where they were encouraged to draw and visually express their thoughts about unity, identity, and cultural pride. Each participant demonstrated creativity through their drawings and later shared the meaning behind their artwork with the group. The activity allowed participants to communicate their feelings and perspectives in a creative way, and everyone actively participated.

Overall feedback from participants was very positive. Participants appeared happy, engaged, and interested throughout the session, and they appreciated the opportunity to express themselves through art and learn about other cultures in the group.

One challenge observed during the session was time management. The facilitator had prepared a presentation; however, due to the focus on the interactive art activity and participant engagement, there was not enough time to fully present the prepared material. The facilitator prioritised participant participation and creative expression over completing the presentation.

Despite the time limitation, the session successfully promoted cultural sharing, creativity, and mutual respect among participants, highlighting the importance of unity within cultural diversity.
